To this day, I still do not understand why The State of Illinois has such strict seat belt laws, yet there are none on buses. Thankfully, no children were injured, however, most that time this is not the case. We should insist that buses are mandated to have seat belts and that the driver receives a warning if any child takes the belt off. We need to protect our most valuable assets which are our children.
