6 People injured in a Car Accident Involving Three Cars in West Garfield Park

Six people, including two police officers, were injured in a three-car accident in West Garfield Park Saturday afternoon. According to Chicago police, three cars, including an unmarked police squad car, were involved in an accident in the 4600 block of West Washington Boulevard. Two police officers were taken to Rush Hospital. Their conditions are unknown. Another vehicle had two occupants. One was taken to Stroger Hospital, and one was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital. Roseland Car Accident Kills a 2-Year-Old Girl

A 2-year-old girl was killed after being ejected from a car that was escaping Chicago police Sunday night in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side. The 21-year-old male driver was taken into custody following the crash at 8:45 p.m. in the 10700 block of South Calumet Avenue. His 1999 black Chrysler was hurtling north on Calumet Avenue when it collided with a 2002 white Acura going west on 107th Street, according to Chicago police. Six people were hurt in an crash involving an ambulance early Tuesday in West Rogers Park on the North Side. An ambulance was transporting a patient with its emergency lights on at 1 a.m. southbound on Richmond when it was struck by an SUV that failed to stop before the intersection at Granville, Chicago police said. One paramedic was seriously injured and taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, the Chicago Fire Department said. A 15-year-old girl died after she was struck by a drunk driver in Chicago Ridge Monday morning, police said. Hours before the incident, the driver was arrested and accused on stealing alcohol from a Merrionette Park Lounge, according to Chicago Ridge police.
